Who's behind iPitch?

The Hong Kong-Canada Business Association, one of the largest bi-lateral trade associations in Canada, has approximately 1,300 members across 8 active sections in major cities (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Atlantic) - and representatives in Hong Kong, Saskatchewan and Ontario - together with strong dynamic connections to 33 similar trade groups in 24 countries around the world through the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide (FHKBAW).

The Global Business Forum, known as Forum, is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2013 at HEC Montréal to gather, within an open exchange place, the student community along with the business networks from Canada and emerging countries. The Global Business Forum then defined its mission as promoting the awareness for international relations among students and business networks. The GBF vision revolves around 3 major pillars: business environment, culture and business mindset.

Since 1997 and its retrocession to China, Hong Kong has the status of Special Administrative Region (SAR) allowing its own governing structure and power along with free economic ruling over its territory. As the official representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government in Canada, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO)'s role is to promote and facilitate exchanges between Hong Kong and Canada, with a particular focus on trade and economic relationships.
